hunter2123 106 Posted August 22, 2012 If I were you, and looking for a new company this would be the LAST place I'd stop.Waiting over 40Hrs to get a new IP/current one unnulledNo refunds when their fuck ups cause you downtimeBasically, this company is ran by inbred apes that give you the most retarded explanations as to why your crap is down.Sure we're getting DDoSed on current IP, does that make it rocket science to change to a new one?Even when Jonnerz says "New IP wasn't available until later today and I didn't inform you of that"OH BUT LOOOK, NO NEW IP?FUCKYOUHOSTINBRED

resin_ 97 Posted August 22, 2012 Not trying to defend them, but you clearly have no idea how servers work. Each node has multiple servers sharing an IP, each with a different port. Changing your server's IP would also change the IP of the other servers sharing your node. Thus, why it's taking so long; they need to move you to a different node. phred 5 Posted August 22, 2012 I find Host Altitude to be fine. They *are* a bit slow in getting things done. It would be lots better if they gave you a sense of how long things will take to complete on their end.

Because if your getting slow responses on control panel servers, that proves how shit they are.
