You have been kicked off the game

Recommended Posts

Alright, now before I ask how to fix my problem, I want to list what I have tried doing. I purchased ArmA: CO from Steam, just in case that info was needed.

- I have verified both game caches (ArmA: 2, ArmA: OA), started both games up separately, and then launched them as Combined Operations. I read this tutorial on another topic.

- I have tried Reinstalling BattleEye from Steam

- I have tried closing DayZCommander and then opening it up again

- I have closed DayZ multiple times

Now here is some more info on my problem:

I have done some research and it seems my problem is a little different from most users. Unlike other people who are instantly kicked when trying to join servers, I can connect to server without a problem. The issue is, when about 10 or so minutes go by with me being in the game I am given the message "You have been kicked off the game", and it brings me to the main menu. Now it wasn't doing this earlier when I was playing on another server, but for the past 3 or 4 servers I've joined it's done it every time at around the same time; 10 minutes of playing the game. I have also had a friend in the game when I was kicked and nothing was displayed on the chat channel where most BattleEye messages and alerts pop up. Anybody having the same problem and/or know how to fix it?

Did you have a high ping? I got kicked with the same message "You have been kicked off the game" (no other explanation) sometimes and i looked like an admin kicking all players with > XXX ping manually.

No, I have joined 3 or 4 different servers, as I stated above, and the problem persists. My ping wouldn't be a problem because the servers I was joining had less than 80 ping. It could quite possibly be the admin kicking me, but considering it happens randomly, it wouldn't make any sense.

Ah yes, I finally figured out the issue! I got a .pbo file from one of my friends to resolve the graphical glitches and for some reason it screwed everything up. That's a bummer though, cause it fixed the artifacting :/
