You have been kicked ... looking for a fix after exhausting everything else I can think of...

Hi guys,

Sorry to post another of these, however I've done a bit of searching and not had much luck.

After being able to play perfectly fine for the past week tonight I start getting issues saying 'you have been kicked' and in game the guys are telling me its because of some signature file.

Now I've tried deleting the @DayZ folder and redownloading the game.

I've tried copying files from Arma 2 Addons folder to Arma 2 OA addons folder which I saw on another post here (I might also add, this was not a 'fix' as suggest, but completely fked the game by having random Arma 2 load images amongst other menus etc pop up for Dayz, before finally getting kicked).

I've tried updating to the newest Arma 2 version.

I've tried validating files through steam for both Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA, then opening each one by one, THEN going into Dayz and still it's borked.

Can anyone please provide an actual fix for this, something that'll finally get me back in game.

It's so frustrating that its doing this all of a sudden when it was perfectly fine a day ago and I havent even touched the game files.

Hey guys,

I'm still getting the same problem I've even tried deleting the whole 'addons' folder that the signature files had issues with etc and reinstalled... and still nothing...

Did you order the game from Steam or another method?

Got it through Steam.

I've tried using steam to play it, I've also tried playing it without steam.

I've also tried launching it without Dayz Commander, still no joy.

Continues to come up with Wrong signature file blah blah blah .pbo

I deleted the whole Expansion/Addon folder which kept coming up with the corrupt files. 4gb later download it still wasn't fixed.

Beyond deleting my whole entire Arma 2 and Arma 2: OA files completely and starting from scratch. I don't know what else to do.

Even then, I've got no confidence it'll fix the problem as it seems intermittent.

It wont let me play at all in the evenings when I get home, yet yesterday morning it allowed me to play for a good 15-30 mins and the only reason I left was because I had to.

I think I've got the fix.

It's battleye related it seems.

I watched this vid and works a treat now. Just had a couple hour session with no issue.

Even though mine was at 100 and i did update it to 108 it still didnt work :( but i guess im one step closer..sorta..
