Hunter & The Hunted

Have you ever hunted another human in the new Zed infested world? I know I have... well, I guess 'hunt' may not be the best word for it...

I didnt openly seek to find another player to kill, I came across a player getting killed and decided to - wow, this sounds even worse - stalk the killer until I had the oppertunity to kill the bandit myself.

I was walking along the tree line near Novy Sabor weh I heard a flurry of gunfire. Dropping to the floor, I noticed a Zed train galloping towards a shrub on the outskirts. As it turns out, the poor dude ran into a barn and managed to loose the horde, only to have his head blown apart and his brains scattered to the wind. This guy, the dead one, had only an axe - he was no threat. The gunshots I heard must have been the sniper trying to get him.

Thats when I saw him going for the corpse. His name was Kriss and I was going to kill him.

He walked - very slowly I might add - towards Starry Sabor. He entered the tin coach depot and moved towards the military tents. From the tree line I called my home, I watched him trek with my binoculars, my M14 AIM at the ready, but more or less useless at the range I was at.

I followed his trail, hoping he wouldnt be too cautious and look back. I found him in one of the medical tents at the top of the military spot in Starry. I waited to see what he would do after he saw me, he turned - revolver equipped - the time that spanned seemed to be hours but it was only moments. We both opened fire and I came out the victor.

I didnt loot his body - but I buried it so he couldnt get his stuff back. R.I.P <insert name here> You have been avenged.

Would anyone else have done the same? Or would they have killed the bandit sooner, or even not at all?
