No servers appearing. Help!

I open up DayZ and where it should list all the servers it just says "Host new session".

It shows servers from internet not LAN, i haven't touched anything apart from alt + tabbing out of the server list and watching a couple of youtube vids when waiting for my friend.

This is really frustrating and i thank you in advance

have you used six or dayz commander?
