Specific HIVE Server Ban?

Now, I know it says not to post ban appeals, and I'm not. I'm curious as to if this is JUST me experiencing this problem.

Every time I try to join US953, it says that I am banned. This is a HIVE server, so wouldn't the only ban I can get is a global ban? But I can enter any other servers that have the same version I do. So what is it with this server specifically?

The admin banned you from their server.

Well, thank you. I was under the impression from my friend that a specific ban wasn't possible on a HIVE server. Now to go appeal to the admin...
