***er on US 271

Today August 21, 2012 a group of friends (made up of 7) and myself was having a great time in OUR server. Our age range from 47 to 80 years of age.

We was running through a wooded area going to Pusta and made a stop at a pond to fill our canteens, we was approached by a player riding a ATV.

This player (HACKER with NO SKILLS) drove his atv under the pond, i kid you not my friends and ZOMBIES was walking on the water like jesus and shot 1 of my friends who was a distance of 40 meters away first from under water.

He then shot and killed another friend, and then another. He said he had all kinds of vehicles and wanted us to drive them for him. I said NO we dont like hackers.

He then shot another friend and then myself, i got very angry at this LOSER for his none skill play. You have to resort to cheating to make a score? I love the mod and think it was an awsome idea to combine military fighting with zombies.

Anyhow i pay good money for this server and i now have decided NOT to renew it. This battleye thing sucks its not doing it job to detect things such as this. I have now shut the server down for the remaing time thats left in the subcription. This truly, i mean this hacker as truly ruined this game and mod for me and my friends.

Any way of making these server more secured ?

I like to correct a mistake in a misprint in this post title, The server is US 278 not US 271

sorry i was still abit upset over this incident.

Any ideas how to make a DayZ server more hacker secured, i noticed at times a statement on the screen says: "mikey has requested a mission change" and then "mikey has requested a restart"

Not really, Scripters will always be one step ahead until they get a better anti-cheat system.

Yea there may be cheaters in every game, but out of the 7 years I played wow, not once did I die to a cheater. So there is options out there that work a lot better than BE. It's just games like ArmA that isn't big or a worth it gets shitty support. Maybe they will search for something a little better for the standalone.

If i was able to get the name i would have BUT his name would NOT show while he was under water, or invisible, as for whining like a bitch as you say im NOT whining but asking for help in how to prevent or scan for hacking. Until;then i turn off the server. its my money and if i chose to turn it off its my choice. as far as you calling me names, you dont know me and im sure you would not say it if we met in person.

ok thanks, i also i just recieved a email from the server host saying they will check the logs. but because the name was not showing while under water and this player was invisible without name, and server never show the name of person who killed you, they will manually ban all names that show scripting.
