RepEvox 1 Posted August 22, 2012 I was banned from ^ that server for no reason. I've played maybe a few hours or so on it, I haven't really counted.Basically I left in the middle of Cherno to fix my textures, since that is the only solution I have found to work for this common problem. I come back and my buddy in the same server says I was kicked for "create car" or something. I got back in the next time and the admin asked me to explain myself for this error saying that "I tried to become a seagull."Next thing I know he's chatting to me and says I better respond in direct communication or else, which obviously didn't work. Now I'm banned for something I didn't do. I'm not too butthurt about losing my stuff, but my buddy and I had a tent with some good gear hidden.Sad panda :(P.S- my in game name was rep 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ballistics 0 Posted August 22, 2012 (edited) My name is ballistics and I was on when Rep was banned in this game. We started palying about a week ago and are both new players. We very much enjoy this server because of the low pings for us and our friends. Rep was theatened to respond to an accusation through chat but we do not know how to fix the broken chat for us. We would really appreciate more help with in game errors from admins instead of being accused and banned for trying to turn into a bird?Thanks for your time. qweets 31 Posted August 24, 2012 I will unban you, I saw a createvehicle thing in the logs and automatically assumed hacker, I apologize for jumping to conclusions apparently the game can try and spawn you as a seagull. qweets 31 Posted August 24, 2012 I'm not sure if you guys responded properly, because the direct or "local area chat" works fine for other members on our server. You switch channels with the " , " and " . " keys and would of needed to switched to direct communication I believe.. I might actually be able to see any chat in any channel honestly, all I needed was an explaination just typed out. You hit / to start typing. If that wasn't working then I apologize. I saw what I saw and took action to protect the server just in case, but I do remember people being spawned as seagulls before so maybe it tried to do that to you and battleye just auto booted you. I have lifted the ban, you and your friend are more than welcome to return, I also sent you a PM to let you know this.all i remember was seeing you kicked for a "createvehicle=seagull" type restriction or something.
