Why are all day servers actually night?

I've literally been trying to find a server for about 35 minutes, even after filtering for Day only every single server has been night. What's the point in servers reporting what time of day the game will be (GMT/UTC X) if the admins always effing change it.. sigh. Playing in pitch black is pointless, especially when you have spawn campers with NVG's and a DMR's.

I'm from the UK, will I get kicked for a high ping?
