Im getting connecting failed for most servers, or I get stuck on the loading screen at waiting for character to create.

I was on a server where a hacker was destorying elektro and I saw a guy who I assumed was the hacker as everyone else in the area was dead and he had top end gear. He shot me and now I cant join any server, have I been banned or something?

my advice is to download the dayz commander > update it > play on the highlighted servers (or filter out the wrong arma 2 and day z servers) so you can play.
