Need some help with logs

Trying to assist a new server admin catch a god mode teleporting scripter who killed several players today. Is there a resource somewhere that has been helpful is locating these scripts in the logs? Any advice would be very much appreciated including telling us to quit while we are ahead. Seriously though, we would like to see more done than kicking this guy locally and keeping players like this to a minimum.

It is a vilayer managed server and is updated to 1.7.2.5
