Has anyone seen a hatchet like this before?

Well, I was raiding a barn, and a found a hatchet, but it had a sort of rusty texture. I've never seen one like this before, has anyone else?

if you equip the "red" hatchet it will have this "rusted" skin since 1.7.2.5, no idea why the hatchet on the floor has the rusted skin

Yes.

It's just the new graphic for the axe. They used to be red.

They look a lot older/more used/weathered now.

When they lie on the floor, they still show as the old axe with the red bit. But when you wield it, it's shows as the greyish bit from what i remember.

I may be wrong though.
