They used to be red.They look a lot older/more used/weathered now.When they lie on the floor, they still show as the old axe with the red bit. But when you wield it, it's shows as the greyish bit from what i remember.I may be wrong though.Edit - Already replied to by lots of people. Damn you forum lag.
