I havent been able to play for about two weeks due to some issues with corrupted files with arma. logged off about two weeks ago after surviving a helicopter crash. I had broken bones, lost about 6000 blood, and was unconcious, and luckily my buddy was able to patch me up, but nobody had an epi-pen. I waited out the hourglass only to find that i was unable to recover from unconciousness. The hourglass would drain completeley, but would remain on the screen, empty. I have some top level gear i dont want to lose, but i cant respawn because the hourglass locks up the game for me... will my buddy have to kill me and take my stuff, or is there a simple fix for this issue?

I hope this isnt a feature built in to Day Z to mimic permanent brain damage or something...

I dont know if youre familiar with Rhinocrunch and his videos, but ive done a few with him. in the one where he is flying around in a huey killing people (I believe its called epic adventure or something), I am the pilot. i had a lag spike, crashed, but survived. this happened to Rhino later, after id been off for a couple of days, he crashed another one, and the same condition happened. when an epi pen was used, it had no effect. he had to be killed to respawn and come back for his stuff.
