Dirt Piles - A Better Option for Hiding Loot

Recommended Posts

I recently read an article from someone who had been in a real life army and was reviewing DayZ, and one of his complaints was that the only places to hide loot are in vehicles or tents. He said, in real life, if he wanted to hide something, he'd bury it, and it's always be there for him when he came back.

What if we added a dirt pile, similar in size to a fire pit, that was fairly well camoflauged and could hold a weapon or two? Limited size so there would have to be multiple piles for large caches. You'd need an entrenching tool to dig. My only concern was that duplicating (be it accidental or intentional) is still a somewhat common bug.

Feedback welcome.
