Helicopter crash sites rarer since patch?

Was wondering if anyone else has noticed a massive decline in the frequency of heli crashes lately? I know this is just anecdotal on my part, but I used to see them in abundance, however I haven't seen any since a couple of patches ago. Can anyone confirm that the spawn rate for them is the same?

I think perhaps they are more evenly spaced out? I used to find quite a few within viewing distance of each other nearly every night, but haven't had that for a while now.

Its roughly the same drop.

I found one before in the middle of nowhere with a full zombified crew.

i find two every evening, just running around above stary to devils castle to grishino.

With choppers back in game, its much much easier to find em. For the people with the choppers that is.

I had a chopper a few days ago and it was so easy to fly over the common spawn areas and loot em.
