It works its just slow, with debug you used to be able to see it slowly warming up.

I dunno, it doesn't do diddly to my temp meter thing. If i hit the point of freezing my nuts off, it never warms back up with a fire. Usually have to go inside or log and wait for the sun.

Red - Hot

Instead it has some weird orangey hue to it which looks exactly the same from 34 to 42 for me, I've not once seen it work properly, I just use a heat pack every now and then on a night time since theyre easy to come across.

Agreed.. and I do the same.

Usually haven't really seen or noticed much change in the thermometer - but sometimes you can clearly notice your character is cold when his hands are shaking and he's making shivering sounds and breathing "like he's cold"... which kinda sounds more like he's scared shitless. I mean at least I suspect that was the case "last night", because I hadn't really been running(so he wasn't out of breath), or hadn't been hurt and he was shaking and shivering.

I wonder if I could just trust those "symptoms" to avoid illness, as the thermometer really is a little too vague. I once got sick without ever seeing it go "black" or "blinking" like someone mentioned... I've been getting sick way too many times, imo :P I just like nightservers because zombies don't see you that well while looting. Daytime they almost feel too overpowered when you're simply trying to look through a few buildings and end up either going through all your ammo or dying :P (solo playing is hard :S)
