I can log on to the game, and sometimes i can get all the way to the grass and trees, but i cant move, or shoot or anything,

Im running the latest patch, and the latest dayz files.

I have the same issue.

I can also join a server and spawn, but as soon as I do, I can't move (or do anything, in fact) and after a few seconds the 'broken red chain' for desync or bad connection appears.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - I really want to play this mod!

EDIT: Steam install.

^^ ive played this week, but yesterday and today this issue has popped up.

It seems like it loads me into the game, gives me all the green icons, Dosn't give me the debug box though,

Also, i saw a zombie hopping past me quite happily. So im in populated areas.

Ive so far tried, reinstalls, suicide (in game, via the respawn menu ;p) reinstalling the mod, creating new profiles, and reverting to previous patches.

Steam install of arma

Downloading and installing the Beta patch again fixed it for me!

I've fixed the "deleted.chernarus" thing by reinstalling the dayz.rar files in the addon folder. Some things, like the beta patch and Steam "verifying files" procedure, seem to mess with the mod, not sure why.
