Hackers are rampant. There is no escaping it.

US 2052. Some hacker warped everyone to some random spot on the map and killed them all. THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. This is the 5th time this has happened to me on 5 different servers from 3 different regions populated/un-populated it makes no difference.

Can anything be done about this? Are ArmA / DayZ unfixable in this respect because of all the complicated scripting?

It's just so frustrating.

Pretty much all you can do is rage for a bit. Nothing is to be done about it until the standalone is released.

Whenever you sense something fishy is about to happen, disconnect. If fishy things are already happening, press the reset button. Don't try Alt-F4, that's sometimes re-mapped do to crazy things.

Just had one spawn in a helicopter and go on a rampage.
