Sudden, short, intermittent FPS drops

Recommended Posts

Usually getting a full 60 FPS no problem, but often, usually when zombies are attacking me, my game will trip up and freeze for a second at a time. Suggestions to fix this?

Rough specs:

nVidia GTX 550 card

Intel i3 dual-core CPU

2GB RAM

Windows XP

My command line:

-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\expansion -nosplash -mod=@dayz -cpucount=2 -exThreads=1 -skipIntro -winxp

-Joker
