NWAF: Sniping spots?

Where do a lot of people snipe from at the NWAF? Like the mounds, woods, etc?

Actually, I think anyone who has lived very long in DayZ, upon seeing this would think it's probably a trap.

Next time I spawn in naked at the coast, I'mma' pick up some road flares and go on a theory testing road trip!

No one goes to the NWAF anymore. :( Even Stary feels pretty lonely these days. Seriously? There are some good postions across the landing strips by the northern barracks. The local sniper hill there has some good vantage points.

Well, as a lot of players are keeping their asses down in elektro, sniping the whple day, and duped weapons lying around evrywhere, there is simply no need of going to stary or NW airfield.

good sniper spots, are at the edge of the airfield, in the / almost in the woods, from where you can watch the tower, the hangars and the fire station as well as, the most important northern barracks

Try coordinates 042051 ... It's a little hill, and you can camp under a tree with vision of N Barracks, Fire station & Control tower

On topic: the south hill of the AF has a nice view on the hangars and firestaion/ATC tower. Apart from some pine trees and walls you are quite exposed there though.

Step 1: Go to Elektro, avoid getting sniped

Step 2: Run around listening for flies, find and loot AS50tws, nvg, rangefinder off the 20 dead dupers lying around the field

Step 3: ???? profit

I was just trying to help the guy by telling him the exact position where I always use to snipe. I don't know what's sarcastic about that...

You have 2 options that i find work the best.

Stand on the runway perfectly still.

Stand on the runway AT NIGHT perfectly still while throwing flares at your feet.

Overall this guarantees you that a kill will happen on the airfield!
