jdan0327 17 Posted August 20, 2012 So yes hacking is a big problem in Day Z. From dupeing to teleporting to insta killing it is seemingly a part of life. So I have a question. Why are there only a few hacked weapons and vehicle? Bare in mind here Im not talking in quantity here but in varity. I mean if I took the time to learn how to hack this mod, you can bet the last thing I'd spawn for myself would be a thermal scoped 50 cal... There's a whole assortment of silenced rifles and such that would be much more fun and entertaining to use. And dont even get me started on vehicles. Who the fuck spawns a SUV when theres a AH-1 helo w/ auto cannon...I guess Im just upset because not only do we have to deal with hackers, we have to deal with the most uncreative bunch of losers known to the community. What gives them a boner is mass killing, invisibility, teleporting, god mode, Thunderdome and shit. Not spawning weapons.Hacked weapons are overrated anyway. The only weapons to make a difference would be the SCAR rifles (imagine M-range features like silencer, ACOG and thermal firing 7,62mm), the Vintorez (one-shot killer at mid-range and silenced), and a powerful sniper rifle with NV. Like the AS50TWS which constantly pops up in tents and dead hacker inventories already. Luckily for game balance, all the other really powerful rifles are impossible to hack.
