ocelot07 60 Posted August 20, 2012 Hello,So I have just found a ATV am not sure if it belongs to someone else but its mine now hahahaha. Anyhow I think its bust. From what I could tell it did not have a lot of fuel in it and after I drove it for about 20 seconds it then would not go straight. It kept turning to the right so am guessing one of the wheels are bust?So how do I fix this? Do I simply find a wheel (saw plenty of them) and put it on or do I need a tool kit? Also how to I get fuel? So I get a jerry can and go to a fuel station? Also what happens to this ATV now? I just logged of the server so will it still be in the server so someone else can fined and take it? Or does it go off the server when I do?Thanks.
Fitzkrieg 129 Posted August 20, 2012 No need for toolbox to fix vehicles, yes need to go to fuel station and go to the big cylander things full of fuel, make sure you double tap Alt so you only drive with WASD and not with mouse (unless you want to). And If you "save ATV" then it'll be there after restart.
ruffriderz_01@tiscali.co.uk 7 Posted August 20, 2012 Sounds like it screwed bud well best place to look is youtube but what i knowyou need wheels what you have found.I dont think you need a Tool Box but if do find em in industrial estatesUse your mouse wheel to bring up options to fix ATV by looking at it make sure you fix the right wheel,or you may fix another1 wheel is 6slots in your inventoryFuel is a right fekin pain but easy to find forget the pumps at a station you need the big tankers for that see em all over the place or check DayZDB :) you need to find the sweet spot on the tanker to fill a empty jerry can in your gear NOT your BAGhope this helps in any waysLaterZ

Xucphra 453 Posted August 20, 2012 Be careful, those things are notoriously easy to flip. I ruined three in the same day once. :|Drive slowly off-road and never drive on bridges or docks/wharves.
