Connecting to Severs

Hey guys

Just started playing DayZ today, had heaps of fun so far (excluding the several deaths due to bandits). Just a quick question about the whole server connection thing..

I regularly get stuck on the 'Waiting for sever response' screen when trying to connect to most servers. A small portion of them work for me (generally the ones with more players, which indicates its working fine).

Is this a regular thing or have I got something that I need to do to avoid this?

It's pretty common with poorly maintained 1.6.0.1 servers. You could try updating to 1.7, it's supposed to have solved a lot of connection issues and there are plenty of servers running the update.
