Control Problem

Hello everyone im new around here, just got arma 2 and installed this mod, been working with the controllers for around 30 minutes and this may be really stupid but i cant move to any side, my char only gos forward, i can look with the mouse to the sides but i only go forward, i have reassigned almost every key and i just cant move to the sides only forward, since i just respawned for the first time im at the sea and i go right into it.

why not use a keyboard and mouse? its easier, and you wont be able to navigate the inventory system with a controller

arma is a simulator outside of dayz and other mods, so its a bit to technical with a controlloer in my mind

Ok, sorry for the misunderstood, i didnt express myself in a right way, my english is not too good, im using a mouse and a keyboard not a controller like those from ps/xbox.

I can look around with the mouse but if i press A or D or S he just gos sideway, i cant turn my body to any other side he just gos forward

double tap W? sometimes it gets locked up if you double tap things?

EDIT:- Also try Q & E see if they work? should lean your Character

Did you max out Dead Zone? Try removing all Dead zone, so if you move the mouse, you should move the "camera"

The camera moves, the head of my char moves too, but i move sideways. Ill post some pics so u can understand

Ok i reinstalled the game, now its working properly, thx for your help people.
