Hacked skins aren't really hacked. Its very simple to get them you just place a picture in a folder and done. Easy as that. :)

From what I understand he looted it from a body. I have seen different skins in game after I came back from vacation. Skins such as civilian cloths. I think new skins have been added tot he game.

I do not cheat and refuse to take part in any of that type of trash.

He also mentioned he has a thermal scope AS50, which isn't in the mod. It's a hacked weapon. If he somehow got it from a hacker, he should do the honourable thing and put it on a zombie's body and bury it.

We found a truck full of satchel charges, rocket launchers and ACOG M16s on our favourite server and blew it all up with one of the satchel charges. Do the right thing and remove that crap from the game. DayZ has enough issues without adding to them.

Trying to rationalise it by saying "I didn't hack it in, so it's cool for me to use it!" doesn't hold any weight. It's just as bad.

og yeah good guy greg, added weapons arent destroying the game, a thermal as50 isnt a overpwered weapon, the scope btw sucks. m16 acog is real, like the rocket launchers and statchel charges. Dont copy the glory holy good guy greg here.

Are you 12 years old or something? Is reality just a bunch of overused, shitty memes to you?

The server admin had just reset the server because it was under attack from hackers. When it had been reset, our clan and the servers clan were travelling south together and found the truck, which was hacked in and was full of weapons that were hacked in too (or at the very least duped), regardless of whether they are in the mod (which I was aware of, smart arse). We destroyed them to stop people griefing with them. We could have taken them if we'd wanted to.

At the end of the day, the guys running the server and the dedicated community of that server have a duty to keep the environment fair for all the people playing in it. So fuck off with your shit memes.

Most experienced players of dayZ are getting tired of dying to hackers, or people using hacked in weapons like the thermal AS50 to camp and grief people. They should start banning anyone that uses them.

Soap, you can't just make arbitrary rules like that. Rocket himself, THE GAME CREATOR, as well as BattleEye, THE GAME ANTICHEAT(as shitty as it is) BOTH say that just using hacked weapons you found by any means short of spawning them yourself IS NOT A BANNABLE OFFENSE.

I can sort of see where you are coming from, but an as50 thermal isn't that powerful, you can hit the same targets they do with the normal as50 or other .50 cal sniper, it just takes a little more skill. My clan's leader as well as the server admin agree, you find a hacked weapon off a hacker or in their tent, use that shit if you want too, because when the noob who uses it dies to a superior player with a normal gun, its probably going to get hidden out of spite anyway. Its all in peoples playstyles, as long as they're not hacking themselves, let them use what they find, I've actually seen people kill hackers with -gasp- hacked as50 TWS since he was flying thru the sky in the clouds and couldn't be seen from the ground with a normal rifle.

He's not making any rules moron. He's just pointing out how little integrity and "honor" people have in this game. It was most likely hacked in, and at least duped like he mentioned. So thus you shouldn't use it. Just because you can't get banned for it doesn't mean you still shouldn't use hacked in weapons. Stop being an idiot.
