Respawning in same place with gear can't save

Recently the server I was on crashed while I was on a ladder. On reconnect, I was clipped inside a building that had no actual rooms. I could walk around and left via the closest wall. Now whenever I die OR log off, I respawn in exactly the same place, with the same gear regardless. Hmmm.

Oh, apparently this is only an issue on NY1...

I had this before - I think the server is bugged with you - play in another server or wait for server to crash or restart and it should be working without issue after that
