No new players can join my server, only those who joined before 19/08 can get in

Hey Everyone

I have no idea whats going on, but it seems no new players can join my server, only people who have logged in previously can.

I understand that some hive upgrade is happening right now? That could explain it.

But the problem started yesterday. We are running 1.7.2.4 (As 1.7.2.5 is borked) and since around 11 am yesterday we have had the issue.

If a player who has never joined our server before tries to join, he gets spawned in the debug hills and their screen sticks on the final "loading" screen, the one without the progress bar. This should occur right before "Setup complete". Of course, they get fed up with waiting and disconnect.

For players who have connected before, it seems to work OK, but they might have to try 3-4 times before they can get in.

So is there a problem with my server or is there a hive upgrade going on as the rumour mil suggests?
