Cannot run or aim down sights of weapon

Is it the server or just me? I've tried several servers and it's all the same story, my character cannot aim down the sights of the gun and cannot run either. I noticed the temperature icon has gone white, is that anything to do with it? I havn't messed around with the controls before either.

Yeah I noticed this as well..dropping your gun seems to fix it...BUT....

This has also made my gun disappear...

Done it 7 times...2 times my gun died :(

No I'm not frozen ingame, my character just walks constantly, and when I press the button to aim down the sights, nothing happens

If you are stuck in walking without touching any keys, just press the walk key again.

Double-tap W to run, pressing ctrl a number of times fixes the weapon thing.

Switch your weapon to your primary/secondary if you have one. Usually works for me when I Spawn in with no crosshair nor being able to aim down gun sights.

Some servers dont have crosshairs enabled..

True, it usually works for me on crosshair enabled servers I should say.

it is possible you selected a different item with F (like flares or chemlights) - pressing RMB like this will not make you look down ironsights but it will make you walk (or something along those lines, don't remember exactly)

also try pressing all modifier keys (shift, alt, ctrl), sometimes they get stuck and mess up the controls
