gair22 3 Posted August 20, 2012 (edited) ]Global Ban #3065 20.08.2012 "Recently many users have contacted us regarding this specific ban. We've investigated the problem and found that it's a problem with Steam falsely assigning the same (banned) cd-key to many users. Some users reported that reinstalling the game fixed the problem for them, so we suggest that as a temporary solution. We're in contact with the game developers and they have already informed Valve about this problem. We will post an update once they have fixed the issue in their system.Just an FYI, I didn't see anyone post this and searched for it as well. Just throwing it out there, sorry if it is a dupe. Also, do not 'reinstall' your game. Just use these simple steps and it will save you hours of downloading, and it does the exact same thing.1. Start Steam in Administrator Mode2. Right click on your ARMA 2 and click Properties3. Click the Local Files tab4. Click 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache'5. Repeat step 4 for "ARMA2: Operation Arrowhead"6. Run both games once with Steam still being ran in administrator mode.7. Update your DayZ if need be, and play! Edited August 20, 2012 by gair22

nik21 287 Posted August 20, 2012 (edited) Update: False alarm. This is simply caused by a fake hack that is in fact a cd-key stealer. It also overwrites the user's actual cd-key with a banned one resulting in this very ban ID. This news post will be removed shortly as there is no point in mentioning such things. After all it's the cheaters' fault for getting themselves banned like this.http://www.battleye.com/ Edited August 20, 2012 by Nik21
