We are a clan that adheres to military style tactics and discipline

We currently recruiting new members to The Outlaws, our goal is to have a fully functioning unit comprising of x4 squads of x5 men in each conforming to our squad structure (see our clan forums).

Here is a breakdown of each squad:

ALPHA - TASK FORCE ONE

This is The Outlaws primary unit, Alpha will be the spearhead squad in the field. Their job is to seek and track survivor bandit terror cells and their camps, neutralise the enemy at all costs and destroying of their equipment and supplies. Anything that could be of use to The Outlaws should be commandeered.

BRAVO - TASK FORCE TWO

If you fancy yourself as a bit of a hero this is the unit for you. Bravo is The Outlaws supporting unit, you will sweep along side other squads preventing enemies from flanking during their key objectives. You will be called upon by other squads as backup and will be responsible for assisting and getting to the conflict ASAP! You will need good navigation and communication skills. You will be involved in most large or important missions. You will need to be handy with a weapon as you will find yourself being called to dangerous areas frequently and will need to be cautious whist getting to the conflict zone.

CHARLIE - ENGINEERS

Fancy yourself as a tactical driver? Maybe a even a pilot? Then Charlie is where it's at. Your primary missions will be to raid garages and hangers to gather as many vehicles for The Outlaws as possible. You will be responsible for dropping squads in to their area of operation and making sure your their for their safe extract after the mission. You will often be driving through 'hot' areas and will see a lot of action. You will also be called upon to take out other survivors vehicles so you will also need to gather explosives on your travels.

DELTA - SILENT OPERATIONS

It's time to get you sneaky beaky on! When large forces of enemy are holding our troops off it will be Deltas job to get in their un-detected whist other squads hold their attention. You will use ONLY silent weapons if you choose to join this squad. You will be a master of stealth and will have extreme patience waiting on stand by to move on a target. Night vision or thermal scopes will be advantageous as a lot of your primary missions will probably be assigned at night.

Timezone is UK.

As we are putting together several squads we are looking at multi national members so different squads can function at different times via our forums. All we ask is fluent English so communications between squads is clear.

Availability is not strict but priority may be given to more active players if we fill up completely. (This is very unlikely to happen and we would consider expanding more squads if it did).

Looks interesting, I am also from the Uk but I am on at weird hours.

Can fit in any squad but my best potential lies in Charlie and Delta. Currently Designated driver/pilot and sniper for my current clan (which is dying slowly)

I and a lot of my clan I know in real life all work full time jobs, so events will be made around peoples time tables. Also if you only play casual we may put you in a squad who has someone missing on that night.

We will always try fit you in somewhere ^^

I'd like to join up to this as I like the military style of play. I served for 4 years in the British Army (came out in Feb, not front line but still understand tactics n shiz). I'm 26 and from the UK and just going back to Uni so will have plenty of free time to kill shiz!! Just a suggestion...Why don't you remove the sniper from each squad (so each of them is 4 man) and create another 4 man support overwatch squad with them? Or 2 x 2 man sniper teams?

Edit: I've currently got M16A2, M107, NVG, Rangefinders, GPS...basically I'm all geared up and ready to go...would be looking to either be a sniper or possibly if you need a IC or 2IC I would be up for it.

Hi Timmymachine,

Good to have your interest in our clan, sounds like you could contribute a lot. I quite like the idea of the x2 separate sniper teams. I originally planned the 5 man teams so as if needed the Sniper and F.O.O could be detached from their squad on secondary mission objectives but maybe the possibility of having these operate as a separate team may work well.

Join up with our website and we can discuss more. As we are trying to form each squad we can still make tweaks and changes and because your in early enough I'm sure we can sort out putting you as I.C or 2nd I.C of a squad.

I wish I was still at uni with ALLLLL day to play games. I'm 27 and in full time work. Do my best to get on a much as possible tho.

This looks great, I consider myself competent in all areas that you are looking for except maybe the pilot role, my strong point is stealth. I'm English but living in Greece so my timezone is no problem as it can tie in with your own, also I plan on joining the RAF Regiment next year after my final year of education.

Get registered with our website and we'll sort out putting you in to a squad and working around differences in timezones.

If your strong point is stealth then it may be good to put you in Delta as long as you have the required weaponry to be allowed in.

@Bish: Fair enough though I did drop my stealth weapon a while back, currently got a DMR so I will go hunting for a SD weapon, btw which server will we be playing on?

Knoble enough if all you want to do is serve, I would follow your heart and do what area you would prefer regardless of what other people think. No parent in the world wouldn't worry under that situation, and if they didn't that would be a much worse situation to be in.

Up to you Nick about weapons, if you wold rather F.O.O or Snipe for a different squad then just shout up in our forums on the website.

In response to 'The_Albatros' Yes it is an ambitious task we face setting up an entirely functioning platoon/troop but it should work out over time. With the stand alone version of this game coming out we are setting up this clan now so as we can perfect it over the next few months. This way we can get better working together and weed out the people who don't conform to the gaming style we want to adopt and can find players who are happy to repeatedly play with The Outlaws. (Hope this answers your concerns).

Sounds like you would be a vital asset to our engineer squad. Have you signed up with our website? We have some debate over our structure but the engineer unit is going to remain as is so no worries there.

We haven't got officially yet may be getting our own in due course, but do you have any suggestions for a server to use in the meantime?
