Just started and died

Someone by some docks with a crane, near a church, gave me a fully loaded AS50 with full ammo, pack with extra food and water, go in some house and get owned.. so so so sad. :(

btw whoever that was that spawned that crate with alot of gear, cheers even though some ass killed me

Don't pick up gear thats obvioursly hacked into the game, Such as a create with all weapons and ammo..

- Usually dont even pick up a AS50 or a M107 if you happen to find it anywhere else but a Heli crash site

Picking up a AS50 or M107 is fine as long as it's the standard versions which are in DayZ. Don't pick up any versions with fancy letters at the end of them tho, like M107 AWS or AS50 TWS etc because those weapons are not part of Dayz and you will be banned for having them, even if you found them in a crate.

Same goes with ammo, if you find some 30 AK SD ammo do not pick it up as DayZ doesn't have AK SD ammo and it's obviously hacked in.

Rocket himself has said "A player will not be banned for having a spawned in weapon/item, he/she will only be banned if they are spawning in the weapons" he wont take any action to someone using a weapon/item to survive only to someone who spawned it in to give themselves an unfair advantage.
