Yeah sooooooooooooo....

The zombies are crap. Pointless to say the least. They need to be back to their old speed so they are an actual threat. Either that OR introduce some mechanic where players cannot run forever IE fatigue.

zombies should hit harder, and should pull more of their friends with them when they agro! Also what about random roaming hordes of 10-30 zombies. roaming the countryside. maybe one random roaming horde per server.

AGREE! I want to see those Camps in the forests REQUIRE DEFENSES! Not just be in the middle of nowhere hidden. In fact make the horde spawn every hour and search for the nearest camp with 3 or more tents in proximity (as long as players are present) and let them be able to trample the tents.

Yea, they should break BOTH legs when they wave their arm at you from 10 meters away. . . . instead of just one.

And make them agro at 500 meters away instead of the 100 or so they do now.

I agree the zombies are a mess right now. Imo they hit too hard, and the run just fine, they just need to be in larger groups and have a more dynamic ai.

zombie speed has been reduced? i didnt see that in the notes.

You haven't noticed that when you agro a zombie they don't instantly catch up to you and then are 3 feet away until you loose them like they used to be? I love the fix for this. If they are going to run really fast to catch you, they should be able to continue to run that fast instead of just catch up and follow.

They hit like girls. Larger groups would be a no no it would murder servers.

They can hear you through walls, yes. It's bogus that they can hit you through them, but the hearing is working correctly, I say. I'd like to see some more diversity in the zombie population.

As for roaming groups, yeah, I'm a supporter of that. Have a zombie "platoon", easy enough in ArmA2, with a dozen or so walking zombies in it. Have them only spawn when the server's zombie population is below 250 or something, so it won't beat up servers, and have them just jogging around, either randomly or generally toward the players. Beef up their detection and have them all aggro together, focus on a single target, never lose track of you (like the old heat-seeking zombies) and only be distracted by dead bodies, smoke grenades or closer survivors. Have them drop noteworthy loot, like the helicopter zombies can drop NVG sometimes. A wad of undead that can find me in the woods, chase me relentlessly and maybe drop a rangefinder or something if I kill them all would be the cat's pajamas.
