What settings should i be running ? And Questions

Basically this may be answered somewheres else but i was curious if anyone has the same specs as me or can help tell me what settings i should be able to play at that; A) Wont look like crap , and B) Has a playable FPS

Specs :

Intel® Core i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz

6144MB Ram

ATI Radeon HD 5570, 3824MB (Total Memory)

1440 x 900 (32 bit) (60Hz)

I have played around with settings and got it to run 30 FPS but it seems like the settings are too low and that my computer should be able to run it better then that.

I heard that a clean IOS can run the game much better, and it looks like my computer needs a cleaning soon anyway because of how much useless stuff i have on it slowing it down. I'm not the smartest but what is the easiest way to do this ?

And lastly i seen videos of people playing DayZ all the time and there icons in the bottom right corner are spaced out farther and stuff, i tried changing my FOV and that didnt do it to mine. Now call me an idiot for not knowing the answer to this but any help would be nice !

turn anti aliasing off post process effects off and vsync off worked for me and maybe shadows,

Alright thanks for the input, i am currently set at Terrain, Object, and the other one on high gave me around 25 but whatever ill set the other two lower then. But now i need answers for this :
