I think that for emergency landing you need to get the nose down and decrease the throttle. Hope you survived that crash.

You can't control the throttle when you have no fuel left. We died, but we were able to go and get out stuff back. Whole Berzino was on fire though.

That fire in the sky is a bug with arma 2.

And the heli has em landing option, when engine cuts out go nose down, throttle down(negative pitch to maintain rotor momentum). Like in RL.

BUT I didnt get it to work, only worked in that stupid bootcamp training where you are near ground when executing this. But enyway I tried it higher or even same high without the specific training it failed, and in the landing training its always a success... in rl it should go someting like this in short:

engine fail -> negative pitch -> nose down -> before touch down positive pitch to slow down the heli for smooth landing...
