I started playing 3 days ago and i have 4 humans encounters, 1 of them disconected the other two killed me and the other one was friendly and now we play together. U.B.C.S. Ravin 326 Posted August 19, 2012 KoS was always bad. Even predated Side-Chat removal. Only then, you were shot in the back by someone pretending to be your friend. Now its in the chest.That's a risk, and one that the Dev's seem to want. They re-released bandit skins (kind-of) and went to Hero skins even, giving you the ability to spot player killers so much easier.Case and point, KoS mentality has always been in DayZ, the community exploded and it became much more noticeable, but saying it wasn't happening before is nonsense.They should really re-add side-chat or make direct change range longer. This was suggested already by Rocket saying he wanted radios, power lines, and various other communicate tools to work in time.One thing at a time, I suppose. Communicate isn't highly important. I'd much rather have bugs fixed like Desync and zombie LoS/Sounds. Maybe even more potiental weapon nerfs.Note I don't say hacking, because DayZ Dev's can't do anything about hacking. They saw the skin and just walked on by or received a blood bag and medical supplies from me. It got me killed by some guy in a ghilie suit though, bummer.
