Not Launching with the Beta Update through Dayz Commander

Recommended Posts

For some reason, whenever I launch dayz through dayz commander it never uses the new beta update that I have installed. I can use the normal beta launcher and it works just fine. Anyone else having this issue?

Try to replace the beta .exe manually by doing:

Go to ...\Valve\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta

Copy arma2oa.exe

Paste it to ...\Valve\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead

In the settings panel, let us know what each of the three directories points to.

DayZ Commander no longer works for me either. I only use DayZ Commander to update my pertinent files. When I connect to a DayZ server, using/via DayZ Commander, it hangs on "Waiting For Host". Whereas, when I simply launch Arma II and load into a server from there it launches the game fine.

In the settings panel, let us know what each of the three directories points to.

Arma 2: c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2

Arma 2 OA: c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead

DayZ: c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ

In DayZ commander it says I have beta ver. 95883 and dayz ver. 1.7.2.5 but when I try to join a server through it in the lower right corner it says I'm running 95248.
