Loading screen bugged in 1.7.2.5

Yup, this have been posted loads of times, but I'm still curious. It gets stuck at the black screen with "Loading" on it, this happens on only some servers. It does happen on servers with the same version, beta patch, or whatever, so that can't be the problem. So I'm wondering, is there anyways to fix this, or do I basically have to wait until the patches in the future fix it?

I'm tired of having to spawn on the coast due to this bug.

If you're sure its stuck on loading and not just taking a long time (I think the hive may be stressed atm) I can reccomend launching a second DayZ / Arma instance and trying to connect with that one.

I've found that if you do that and make a successful connection you avoid spawning on the coast, if you alt-tab and close a session thats suck loading I think you're in the debug plains and recently it was added that if you were in the "waterworld" or the debug plains that on the next login you'd be on the coast.

Word of warning I ended up with 4 arma sessions on the go, in the end two ended up connected at the same time and I've picked up an auto ban for server hopping but that beats spawning on the coast again!

Nope Never loved it :-p

TBH my friends and I when it's happened and we've been near cherno / electro we've gone fk it and raided the hospital for those wonderful supplies so it does have it's uses.

The worst time was when I spawned in Kamenka ran all the way to near the NW airfield where my friends were logged out in one go only to get shot in the face looking for a safe place to log :-(

This is so annoying! I have bought this game today, and was able to play about one hour max with all these "Loading" screens.

Some servers take much longer to login.. if you hit loading always wait it out or expect bugs.

Best way to avoid this is ensure your software versions are identical to the server ones.

Install commander and you can change the 'versions' on the fly, if you want to change serves.

I tried James_D80's tip, and it worked perfectly. I advice everybody to do that if you stumble upon this problem.

Just found out that my main server got closed, had a tent full of epic weaponz and stuffz D:

This 'fix' has not worked for me. I still get stiffed by loading screens on servers with supposedly the same patches/versions as my own.
