So whats that other white icon, the one thats not the broken bone icon?

You get it when youve fallen off a ladder..(sigh)..Or been hit by a Zed etc, it kinda looks like a belt broken in half to me? With some lines coming off it. Its not the broken bone icon but not too dissimilar, Ive seen it a few times when ive been injured but never worked out what it is. I thought it indicated a fracture, rather than a broken bone?

if you take any damage from any player or even yourself - if you disconnect with it up when you next spawn in you become unconscious for 3 mins ;)

I thought it represented (temporary) hearing damage as a result of a round passing too close to your head or something.

It's the warning to let you know disconnect punishment is in effect. From either self damage, or player damage.

Unless they re-purposed it that's not what it is. I've had it from being belted about by zombies, assumed it was to do with pain.

Yes, that's as intended. It's to stop people from disconnecting when being attacked by a horde.

I always thought it meant your deaf, since it coincided with me going deaf after taking a good deal of damage. :P

It's not that definitely.

I fell of the wall yesterday and got the same white icon, it disappeared after some time.

I never disconnected form the server.

Limeni, it'll pop up if you injure yourself as well. It's just an icon to warn you that 'IF' you disconnect while the icon is up, you will be punished when you next spawn in. The punishment is a 3 minute nap basically.
