Will my internet connection be ok

Hi all, I heard about DayZ lately and owuld really like to try it but since I got to buy ArmA 2 Combined Operation, I would like to know if I'll be able to play it or if I'll always be kicked out of servers because of my ping like in BF3. I have a 3mbps satellite internet connection, that's the best I can have where I live, too far to get phone line or cable or fiber optics connection :S. In World of Warcraft I have a ping between 700 and 900.

Well this situation sucks man. And Possibly you can get on some servers that wont ping restrict you but the play-ability of the game will be next to impossible .-.

Thanks ;) Yep it does, we all got screwed with plans to install fiber optic everywhere, that was just to get money for the project by the government here in Quebec Canada, they got the money began to install it and then stopped saying there was too many problem and stopped the services, it sucks. I think I will still buy ArmA 2 since i loved Operation Flashpoint back in the days and still try Day Z ;)

May i recommend if you like playing Solo campaign styles with a lot of Teamwork. Try the campaign. I loved it :)

Yep like it if they did a job like they did in OF and even a better one lol it would be great so gonna try that tomorrow ;) I'll download it tonight on Steam.

no problem! i have been enjoying dayz for many months on my satellite internet, arma2 has the best net code!!

i dont notice any lag at all nor my firends

and in a few days i will get my server back up with no ping kicker :P

That's great to ear :) thanks :) can't wait to try, even if I get some lag ...ok in Day Z I think it can be really deadly lol but it'll just add up to the challenge lol. Normally I adjust quite rapidly to lag but we'll see ;).
