Running a server

Ok, my clan just got our own server set up. Brand new, hasn't been up for very long. So, we decide to go vehicle hunting. And I cannot find a single vehicle at any of the "spawn" points.

Is there some kind of setting we need to enable?

Also, we think we might want to enable side chat. How would we do that?

And, how do we change the difficulty, if we decide to do that.

Edit: also, we were wondering how to reverse the day/night cycle. Most of our clan are Aussies, and the server is based is America (don't ask me why), so when we play, it's always dark as fuck.

I had the same issue when I got my server. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done. At the very most you will have to wait 7 days for the server to respawn everything. On the 7th day, everything will respawn at once. So be ready for it. At the very east, it could be in a few hour to a few days, but more than likely, it will happen like it happened to me.
