I have Satellite Internet, and unfortunately, my ping is always high, which also excludes me from being able to play on a majority of servers.

Is there any type of program I can get that will lower the ping or fix my latency?

I've got the modem set as a hard wired connection to my tower, wifi broadcasting turned off, but my ping always wants to be anywhere fromm 450 to 900.

Change your internet,Thats the only way.

You can try closing all apps that use the internet, But there's no applications to really improve you internet speed.

Ahh, we got fucked with our last internet provider. We dropped our package and just went with a $25 a month for internet package. That turned into a $100 a month for basic internet. Living out in the boonies sucks ass.

No you can't do it with software. I've heard of people using ping spoofers, not sure how they work or where you'd get one though. They don't fix your ping they just disguise it for the server. In any case playing with that level of ping is ridiculous I wouldn't recommend trying a ping spoofer either it will probably just get you banned from a lot of servers. You need to get better internet, that's the only fix.
