M8EO 16 Posted August 18, 2012 (edited) Hey guys,3 of my friends have got this DayZ Commander thing which sounds awesome, in my opinion. I downloaded it off the website (www.dayzcommander.com), but i had a couple problems when installing.Problem 1:When i ran the install file, before the install bar advanced at all, i got an error message saying that the files couldn't be specified or something. However, i moved the install file into the C directory (out of the downloads folder), which then stopped the problem.Problem 2:The install bar actually appeared this time, but before it could finish, i got an error message saying this: Error 1001. InstallUtilLib.dll:CorBindToRuntimeHost (hr=0x80070005): Access is Denied.I then have no option appart from closing the installer, and it doesn't install.I've tried running it as Administrator, but there is no option to do so, and I've looked a lot online for solutions, but cannot find any.Any help would be very good! Thanks. mark.merrill@hotmail.co.uk 43 Posted August 18, 2012 That kind of error message usually indicates you do not have admin privileges. try right clicking the msi install file itself and running that as admin.
M8EO 16 Posted August 19, 2012 Yeah that's what i thought, but when i right click the file, there is no 'Run as Administrator' option. I also went into the properties of the file and the 'Run this program as an Administrator' was grayed out.
mark.merrill@hotmail.co.uk 43 Posted August 20, 2012 What O/S do you have? Win7? Vista? Are there multiple accounts on your PC?

mark.merrill@hotmail.co.uk 43 Posted August 21, 2012 (edited) Hmm, I honestly am stumped. I'm not a mad tech wiz when it come's to resolving error's. I just know that particular error is somehow connected to admin privilege's.I looked around and the closest I could come to with that sort of error is that it could be something to do with your .NET.I'll link the forum/post so you can have a look for yourself;http://kb.flexerasof...ernalID=Q112469I run with Vista myself so maybe someone with Win7 could shed some more light on this. It's also possible you got a bum download. Have you tried re-downloading the DayZ Commander again? Edited August 21, 2012 by Bare Thrylls
