New objectives?

It seems this game is lacking objectives. If this game is taking inspiration from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. then then how about some kinda difficult to reach center of the Zone. Impossible to reach without well equipped team. Or some smaller ''quests'' like distress calls, or underground bunkers.

What the game really needs is some NPC's asking you to collect 10 items and then return the items to the NPC and then you get 50 experience points which eventually make your character run a bit faster. That would make this game so unique and really scary.


Being honest now.....

Suggestions like this are interesting, it shows the way people struggle to comprehend a game which is made outside of the normal framework we are accustomed to.

We need to be told what to do, a clear objective, otherwise it appears pointless.

Can you play a game and enjoy it simply from the experience, rather than the goal?

In your example, what would happen when you reach this "zone"? A cut scene? Achievement unlocked?
