First of all, I just love this mod:)

What I suggest: When a player joines a server for the first time, he has to register an account which is used on the forums. This profile is locked to your cd-key, and only one character may be bound to this profile at a time, and it's the account you have to use on the forums. On the website you have the opportunity to look at stats from ingame; how long you survived, how many zeds/survivors you've killed etc. You may choose gender only once per character.

On this profile, you may also choose a starting loadout and skin, though skins like ghilliesuit are restricted to what you find ingame.
