How my play style has changed

The day i bought OA to play this mod, i started out playing with a friend of mine, we play pretty much all of the time we play together, because of the persistent element it's just favourable that way.

The first day we played it was super cautious and after playing a tonne, many many hours of scavenging guns food and ammo, we had zed kill counts of <10, we continued to play like that for about a week or so, getting better guns and moving around the landscape getting to know the game but still doing very little with all the loot we were scavenging.

some time last week we were just talking about the game having both been killed by a sniper rather suddenly in the middle of nowhere, and it was a little depressing to play for so long and gather so much stuff but achieve so little, so now we run from town to town exterminating every zed with whatever gun we can find, my usual favourite being the winnie thanks to it's massive abundance of ammo.

Since starting to shoot everything that's undead, and anything else that's trying to kill us, the game is a lot more fun, just my opinion and advice, play the game with a little more action and you might get a lot more fun out of it, though i have no doubts that stealth and hoarding are what some people find fun, discuss :)

considering how i use it i don't think there's much point' date=' when i say we go into a town and kill all the zeds, it's favorable to have a weapon that will call the zeds to wherever you choose to fortify, usually inside a barn, one person at each set of stairs taking a door each
