yes, it has already been posted on several occasions, and been discussed in several threads.

keep in mind that many (if not most) servers will not allow custom file upload to reduce the attack vector of hackers, and thus you wont be able to join that servers.

when i use dayzcommander for taviana there is no custom face, anyone know why?

It's blocked by default and most server owners won't unblock them, contact the servers owner and ask if you can use it.
