What do I do now? need help urgently

I just downloaded the update from last week but I'm a little unclear as to where to put it..

do i put it in the @DayZ folder?

do i put it in the .rsync folder inside the @DayZ folder?

do i put it in the .pack folder inside the .rsync folder inside the @DayZ folder?

do i put it in the addons folder which is inside the .pack folder inside the .rsync folder inside the @DayZ folder??

Or do I put it in the other addons folder inside the @DayZ folder?

Or is there some other folder I'm supposed to use? and do I restart after I do this?

I would suggest using DayZ Commander, it updates when you want it to and to the latest version, just by a click of a button :)

One more question: are there dogs in the mod yet? I saw some youtube videos.. if not, when? and how do you get them?
