Good shout, when my group started in DayZ we chose the Kamenka area for our camps, then headed more northwards when we matured into restoring vehicles (not quite Goba but we've found plenty there too :)

I once found a camp in an open field, just East of Green Mountain lol.

I've searched these locations before, can't say I've seen many camps there tho.
