Alt+F4 is in the code -- just like tents full of high-level gear and 3rd person view. Of course Rocket wants you to do it. He said the game is unfair and unforgiving. Why else would he make .50 caliber rifles so powerful? To test you against other peoples' ability to alt+F4 during a fight.

Okay first of all.

Alt+F4 is a shortcut made by microsoft to force quit the current process. It has nothing to do with the ArmA engine, so stop saying it's part of the game.

An why did he make .50cals so powerfull? To punish the person who is stupid enough to not scan the area first, and who perfers to run around because sticking to walls and following a certain route where you are safe is too slow and boring. Just watch a few videos showing you exactly how snipers get their kills in Cherno and Elektro, and learn from that.

In this case windows is basically a third party program and saying Alt + f4 is good and should be used, is basically like justifying cheat engine.

rocket has stated pretty clearly before that alt-f4 out of combat is not supposed to be part of the game. you could make the same argument for scripting and duping--"the game lets you do it, don't tell me what to do," etc. etc. bullshit

edit: lol I was trolled

Not sure what you meant with "harden up".

But yeah welcome to the internet, we take our games seriously and hate everyone who doesn't.

OP thinks pan-dimensional jumping is a valid form of defense in a zombie apocolypse?

Maybe he should write a letter to Danny Boyle suggesting he use the technique in the next "28 (something) Later" film, i'm sure it would add a great deal of tension to the script when the main characters just disappear off screen whenever there's a little trouble.

It really isn't a valid technique, it's just a left over from the Arma code beneath DayZ, it will not be possible in the stand-alone so the OP would be best to learn how to play properly before it's absence becomes too much of a shock when he upgrades to the real game.

Dear OP

How are you any different to those idiots that drop out of fighting games when they go a round down?

Or those gits that play Fifa who just suddenyl quit the moment they concede a goal?
